Flap Jack baking!

It was quite cold outside, inside it was warm and tea & Cakes had just been served.

Edna and Peter were up for the challenge of making flap jacks. We chatted and got all our protective clothing on to mix the ingredients. We used golden syrup and then with the melted butter we added them both together into a bowl. We poured it into the oats and then the residents took turns in mixing with the spoon. Edna said how good the mix looked after it settled. We then gave it to the Chef to bake and said they would be ready to enjoy the next day.
