Out In The Garden

Today was the perfect day to head into the garden and lend a helping hand with gathering vegetables.

Our radishes where ready to harvest, along with several other vegetable’s. Carol assisted Tracey to select vegetables which were ready to be harvested and delivered to the kitchen.

Adam our chef today spoke of ideas he had for some of the items and will add some to dishes he is making. Our potager garden at our home is a haven to sit and enjoy the sunny days. The scents from the plants growing drift over as you enjoy the blooms they hold while growing. We have lots of fresh herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers which our kitchen use in the home’s dishes.

Carol said, “It is so lovely to see how much everything has grown” she went on to say, “Isn’t it wonderful, how all the lovely smells evoked memories, it reminds me of when I used to grow my own vegetables!”
