Gardening Club Success

We have been growing tomatoes from seed for our upcoming Summer Fete which is just around the corner.

We have been working hard to grow three types of tomatoes, which are all different in size, taste, and colour. We have great success with our Ace 55 variety which grew with ease.

As we re-potted our seedling’s we chatted about vegetables we have grown in the past, and shared tips and tricks for growing the perfect vegetable.

Edna spoke of the re-potting soil, and how it smelt like Autumn when it had just rained. We found small twigs and leaves present in the soil, as it is made from compostable material locally.
