Gin & Pamper

There is nothing better than visiting the salon or having your hair done, joining friends for a glass of gin or a relaxing chat.

We held our first Gin & Pamper afternoon at Canford Chase. Which was a roaring success with many asking when the next will be held. The whole home was welcomed to join us for the afternoon, with many things available from facials, nail shaping & painting and makeup makeovers. There was much chat about beauty routines and residents favourite places to visit to have their hair or nails done. Sheila Marks commented “I use to always have my hair and nails done for special occasions at the salon. It was a special treat from myself to me. It made me feel special and full of life.” As the afternoon drew to a close many of the residents asked about the next event. Planning now begins for our next Pamper afternoon.
