Happy 100th Birthday
We welcomed friends, family and acquaintances to join us to celebrate the lovely Frank Daley’s 100th Birthday. Frank’s day was filled with love, well wishes and visitors.
Frank started his day with a skype call to Australia to speak with his Ron (distant Relative) and family. Frank had been looking forward to his Skype call for a few weeks.
During the afternoon we celebrated Frank in true style. We welcomed the talented Chloe, Jenn and Sarah from a local circus group in Wimborne who were accompanied by the lovely Burt who is a relative of one of our fellow residents. Burt played his trombone while Chloe, Jenn and Sarah performed. We all joined in with the performance in many ways from following movements and singing along. We enjoyed food, drinks and cake whilst the lovely Scott Free (Swinging Sinatra) played hits by Frank Sinatra and Matt Monroe for us. We danced and sang away the afternoon with everyone. Many of the staff also came to wish Frank a happy birthday, playing instruments and serenading Frank with a Happy Birthday chorus at various points join the day.
Frank received many cards from far and wide. Flowers from friends and the Mayor’s Office. Balloons from friends and Birthday Wishes through the day.
Happy 100th Birthday Frank!
