International Ice cream Day

For International Ice Cream Day Mr Mikey Ices came to Canford Chase.

As the ice cream Van pulled into the car park the jingle transported some of the residents back to days gone by with days spent at the seaside or country walks and stopping at the ice cream Van for a sweet treat.

Our residents went out to the van to have a look at the pictures to decide what there choice of sweet treat would be. It was clear to see that a single Mr Whippy with a flake was a popular choice.

Some of our residents had their family with them so were able to spend time together chatting over an ice cream. A couple of residents Carol Brown and Anne Hammond said “what a special occasion it was and very yummy”
