National Pizza Day

At Canford Chase, we recently came together to celebrate National Pizza Day.

It was an afternoon filled with laughter as we indulged in this beloved culinary delight, reminiscing about our favourite flavours and toppings from the past.

With lively Italian music playing in the background, we gathered around a table brimming with an array of ingredients, eagerly anticipating the chance to craft our own individual pizzas with the assistance of our dedicated staff.

First, we spread the sauce, then sprinkled cheese, and piled on toppings to our heart’s content.

From classic pepperoni and ham to savoury mushrooms and creamy mozzarella, each resident had the opportunity to tailor their pizza to their personal taste preferences.

We also ensured that everyone could participate, accommodating dietary preferences such as dairy-free cheese and crust options. As the pizzas baked to perfection, we enjoyed a slice or two while watching the classic film “The Italian Job.”

It was session filled with camaraderie, good food, and cherished memories, reminding us of all the simple joys in life shared with friends and neighbours.
