Oil Pastels

It was a busy afternoon at Canford Chase with many visitors arriving throughout the day.

Bringing the sunshine inside we settled on an art activity this afternoon. Using oil pastels and flowers from the home we attempted to bring the flowers to life on paper. Much discussion was had about colours and how each flower was unique and the petals even though fragile, are formed with a perfection. Midge joined in and spoke of drawing with pencils and her favourite scenes were animals and scenic views. Midge described flowers as a work of art created to bring joy and smiles.
