Roses Are Red

Residents wanted to try some different arts and crafts this week.

So, we spent some time watching a tutorial on how to make a paper rose from a napkin. So, we got creative with some red napkins, making them into beautiful rose shapes, which turned out well.

The residents also reminisced about dinner parties they attended or held in the past. We talked about how they would decorate their own tables and welcome loved ones, friends, and family for dinner.

Activities like this help to keep our hands and wrist nimble and uses muscles we would only otherwise use occasionally, helping to keep fine motor skills and stretch our muscles.
