St Patricks Day

This morning we put up bunting and shamrocks around the home to celebrate St Patricks day.

After lunch we organised a St Patricks afternoon with Guinness and Baileys on offer for residents and family members, we had some fun by making a Baby Guinness cocktail which both drinks lay on top of one another to make a cool effect, everyone enjoyed seeing the different colours inside the glass and a couple of the residents family members had a glass of this and said it was very nice.

Some of the residents enjoyed having Baileys saying Guinness is not a great taste and said it was a long time since they drank either of them but preferred the taste of the Baileys. We had some Party tunes of Ireland followed by a concert of Andre Rieu – The last Rose. It was a great fun afternoon!
