Stylish Scarecrows

Our scarecrows are coming to life for the Colten Produce Show. 

To make our scarecrows, we sourced clothing from charity shops and stuffed some old tights with hay. Our scarecrows were then dressed and mounted on to some wooden battens to make them more stable. 

As we worked on them, residents devised a backstory for our scarecrows! Introducing Alfred and Ethel: an older married couple that lived on a farm. We hope they bring as much of a smile to our visitors’ faces as they do to ours!
