Talk Like a Pirate Day

We recently celebrated ‘Talk Like A Pirate Day’ here at Canford Chase.

Staff dressed as pirates and invited everyone to join them on a treasure hunt. Captain J & First Mate Vicky tasked our newly appointed crew to find the hidden treasure! That scurvy Captain CC had hidden many years ago. Our new Chase Crew took to the sea to find the clues. First Mate Vicky found the first clue, and then Captain J joined the hunt. Clues were located along the way, with some needing extra clues in the right direction. The clues took the crew to land where a couple of the crew took the challenge to bring the treasure back to the ship. Once we located Captain CC treasure, we returned to share the spoils. Lots of chocolate and tea were consumed throughout the afternoon.
