Trip to Swanage

Today, residents enjoyed a delightful minibus outing to Swanage.

Our journey took us past the beautiful sights including Corfe Castle, Sandbanks, and the Swanage Railway. Perfectly timed, we watched a steam train setting off, sparking conversation and fond memories of the smell of steam for many of our residents.

At Harlees, everyone savoured traditional fish and chips, with cod proving the favourite. Laughter, conversation, and shared stories filled the restaurant as residents discovered who had visited Swanage before and learned more about each other’s hometowns.

On the journey home, the group took the scenic route via the ferry, rounding off a relaxed and cheerful day.
