Wreath making.
Today we were joined by Tracey the homes gardener.
Tracey show cased how to make a traditional door wreaths using foliage and flowers from the garden. Teaming together we tried to make our own. Tracey had braved the wet morning weather, to cut foliage and flowers for our wreaths. Throughout the activity we found number of small snails which we rehomed in the garden. The wreaths were made in stages which we built together in small sections. We looked for the perfect foliage to pair together with flowers to make the sections, and add to the hoop frames. We made two and hung them in the dining room and the home managers door. The smell of the fresh foliage and flowers were described by Yvette as walking through a forest after the rain. It settles the soul.
