From Nurse to Care Home Manager
MEET CEPHANIE
Cephanie joined us in 2021 as our Senior Clinical Skills Trainer. She works alongside Learning & Development and Assurance colleagues to support and develop our nurses, student nurses and Trainee Nursing Associates.
Cephanie’s many responsibilities include: providing advice for nurses on revalidation; supporting our Clinical Leads to cascade knowledge; developing our preceptorship provision and devising a nurse leadership and management programme.
An experienced nurse with more than 27 years’ experience and qualifications at both degree and master’s level, Cephanie was previously a Clinical Training Manager for healthcare workers, looking after clients in the home with brain injuries and other complex care needs. She has also been a Ward Sister in a hospital, working in respiratory and gastro specialisms in older people’s medicine.
