Peter had an exciting community outing to the vast field of Poundbury, where he visited the Nothe Fort enactment tent and explored various memorabilia.
The loud cannon fire caught Peter’s attention, and he was intrigued to find a group of enthusiastic volunteers from the Artillery gun crew. They were delighted to engage in conversations and share insights about their roles. They happily fulfilled Peter’s wish to take a photo with them.
During the visit, Peter also discovered that they were seeking volunteers. This information sparked interest and enthusiasm among the group. It’s wonderful to see opportunities for community members to contribute and get involved in such meaningful endeavours.
