Afternoon with High Tea

Residents have commented on how much they enjoy our monthly Afternoon High-Tea, where we bring out our best bone China tea set.

So much so, we decided to have a High-Tea during our minibus trip, and why not! Off we went to Sandsfoot Gardens in Weymouth, where we set up the table, dressing it with a lovely tablecloth, and yes, we even brought along the best China, including the teapot.

The view was lovely; we overlooked Portland Port while enjoying the experience. Even though the sun disappeared and it became a bit chilly, we didn’t mind at all. There was a resounding sentiment from all the residents: “Tea tastes so much better when made in a teapot and drunk from a China teacup!”

We had such a lovely afternoon that we were still talking about our experience the following day!
