Burns Night

Residents had a wonderful time celebrating Burns Night.
During a lively afternoon get-together, Mary and Betty delighted everyone by reading Robert Burns’ renowned poems, including Coming Through the Rye and A Red, Red Rose, before the group joined in singing Auld Lang Syne.
The celebration was filled with Scottish charm, featuring traditional songs, haggis tastings, and an engaging documentary on Robert Burns.
A “pass the haggis” fun quiz revealed fascinating cultural facts, such as the origin of kilts and the long history of haggis.
The day was a perfect blend of learning, laughter, and Scottish traditions, enjoyed by all.
