Christmas Day at Castle View

Staff and residents enjoyed a lovely Christmas Day.

We began the day by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and assisting all the residents in opening their presents and cards.

Residents gathered for pre-lunch drinks in the lounge before proceeding to the dining room to celebrate with a Christmas lunch, accompanied by music played by Mary Bayley’s daughter, Liz Jackson. After lunch, we engaged in parlour games, and laughter could be heard throughout Reception.

This was followed by a Christmas quiz, adding to the festive spirit of the day.
