Creative Inspiration from the Harmony Festival

Betty, Kay, and Cynthia recently enjoyed a minibus trip to the Harmony Festival at St. Mary’s Church, held in support of Weldmar Hospice.

The festival featured a beautiful mix of local art, including sculptures, paintings, and colourfully painted elephants designed by local schools. These elephants will later be auctioned to raise funds for the hospice.

The atmosphere was calm and uplifting, with classical music playing softly in the background as the group explored the displays. They were especially inspired by the stunning flower arrangements on show and left feeling full of ideas.

The visit sparked a creative plan, to try their hand at making larger floral displays themselves. They’re looking forward to turning that inspiration into a July activity to help brighten up the Castle View porch area.
