Dorchester Christmas Tree Festival

Residents took part in the Dorchester Christmas Tree Festival at St George’s Church in Fordington.

We created a tree to represent the home and mark the festive season within the wider community. The entry was named The Tree of Memories.

Residents worked together to make the decorations, including paper chains made from newspaper, along with robins, angels, and paper stockings. Some of the decorations were used to write festive messages or notes for loved ones.

Once finished, Betty and Margaret travelled with Companion Denise and Minibus Driver Nick to St George’s Church to help position the tree ready for the festival.
