Gaia Exhibition at Sherborne Abbey

Today, we travelled by minibus to Sherborne Abbey to see the Gaia Exhibition.

The artwork was an impressive 7-metre globe created from detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface. Suspended in the Abbey, it gave the appearance of our planet floating in three dimensions.

Betty, Margaret, and Muriel especially enjoyed the display, fascinated by the scale and detail of the globe. We also enjoyed exploring Sherborne Abbey itself, and the visit made for a unique and memorable trip.
