Gardening Club

Betty, Mary, Violet, and Sam had a lovely time at Gardening Club this week.

They began by applying glue to small painted wooden buckets to make them waterproof. After that, they went into the garden to take cuttings from plants they liked.

Once they returned, Companion Sue helped them plant the cuttings. They also planted some small plants that Sue had grown at home.

As they worked, the residents shared memories of taking cuttings in their own gardens. They fondly spoke of how they used to give those plants to friends and family. The activity sparked joyful conversations and a sense of connection among the group.
