Opening of 1950’s Christmas Room

Today, the delightful Tom officially opened our 1950s/1960s themed Christmas room. This festive space is decorated each year by two of our laundry staff members, Angie and Trudy.

The room is designed to evoke nostalgic memories, from playing LPs on the record player to perusing 1950s magazines. Tom fondly recalled his parents owning one of the magazines displayed in the home during his childhood.

The room aims to transport everyone back to that bygone era, where they can rediscover and relish in cherished memories. It’s a celebration of the past, creating an atmosphere where residents can unlock and share those precious past moments.
