Perfect Pickled Plums

Our cooking group opted to prepare pickled plums for their session today.

They sourced the recipe from the cookbook “Perfect Pickles,” which specializes in chutneys and relishes. Instead of the usual pickling fruits, the residents have decided to experiment with plums. After cooking, the pickled plums need to steep for one month before tasting, as both sugar and cider vinegar were used in the recipe. Everyone is curious to see how they will taste. Once bottled and labelled, the pickles can be stored for up to one year.
