Poetry in the Garden

Residents at Castle View gathered in the garden this afternoon for a relaxed “Bring Your Poems” session, sharing favourite verses and reading aloud together in the sunshine. Selections included works by Rudyard Kipling, William Henry Davies, Edward Lear and A. A. Milne.

As poems were read around the group, residents exchanged thoughts on familiar lines and favourite authors. One of the afternoon’s highlights was The Owl and the Pussy-Cat, which quickly prompted a group recitation as residents joined in together. With warm weather and garden views all around, the gathering unfolded at an easy pace with plenty of conversation and laughter.
