Remembrance at Castle View

Residents at Castle View gathered in the main lounge to watch the Remembrance Parade and the laying of wreaths.

Before the rain began, Peter, Rosemary, Margaret, and others enjoyed a stroll around the garden to admire the growing poppy display.

The soldier figures, created by residents two years ago, continue to expand each year. This year, residents and members of the local community knitted poppies to adorn the arch, while painted and laminated poppies made with local primary schools from last year added to the display. Everyone enjoys seeing the collection grow annually, cherishing the memories it represents and looking forward to the additions that will bring the display to life next year.
