Reminiscing with Jan

We had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Jan Millward today for a session of reminiscing about kitchenalia.

Kay and Jean fondly remembered their mums in the kitchen, wearing aprons while using hand whisks and patterned cake tins for baking. Meanwhile, Richard shared a unique memory of using an old pressure cooker during his time in dentistry; he recalled sterilising instruments in it while visiting patients at home.

The past was brought to life further as staff dressed up as a local milkman, a shopkeeper, and a friendly customer, adding laughter to the afternoon.

We ended the afternoon with a lovely spread of tea and cake.
