Returning to bowls

Resident Vera has enjoyed playing bowls for many years. 

She has been team Captain of four ladies at Warwickshire Bowls club where they won Coventry Parks Ladies Bowls Champion R-UP 1993. Vera had given up bowls at 90 years old but recently has enjoyed taking part in our home bowls club with other residents. We visited the Dorchester Bowls club on one of their open days the 17th September and was warmly welcomed by the club chair Barry, wonderful staff and coaches Sue. Vera enjoyed being on the green again throwing bowls with the coaches. Vera also enjoyed reminiscing over the times she played while watching others.
