St George’s Day Celebrations

High tea, filled with warmth and celebration

Castle View marked St George’s Day with an afternoon high tea, accompanied by live piano. Kevin played throughout, taking requests and moving between well-known tunes as they were called out. Teacups were refilled, plates passed, and conversation carried easily across the room. Some residents paused to listen, others joined in quietly, recognising familiar melodies. The piano set the pace for the afternoon—unhurried and sociable—while the room settled into a comfortable rhythm of music, tea, and shared company.
