Scrabble Showdown

Residents keep their minds sharp and their competitive spirits high with a much-loved monthly Giant Scrabble game, hosted by our Home Manager, Rebecca.

This fast-paced challenge sees residents racing to create the highest-scoring words, making it both an exciting competition and a fantastic workout for memory, vocabulary, and critical thinking.

Leading the leader board is our reigning Scrabble champion, Joan, with Jane and Vernon proudly taking the runner-up spots (pictured).

“We’ve had some hilarious moments,” Rebecca shares. “Sometimes the words that get played are a bit cheeky or unexpected, which always sparks laughter and lively conversation. It’s wonderful to see everyone so engaged — it really keeps us on our toes!”
