St Barbe Museum

We had a delightful afternoon visiting the local St. Barbes Museum and Art Gallery.

The residents relished exploring the work of various local artists and capped off the experience with a pleasant tea, coffee, and cake at the coffee shop.

Engaging with familiar faces, chatting with locals, and recognising some of the volunteers added to the enjoyment of the outing.

Resident Beryl, who volunteered at the museum for eight years, expressed how lovely it was to revisit the space. She noted the significant changes and improvements, remarking on how great everything looked.

The trip was a wonderful blend of appreciation for art, community connection, and nostalgic reminiscence.
