The Afternoon Tea Experience

We had a love afternoon recently here at Court Lodge, we gave our residents an ‘Afternoon Tea’ experience.

The resident had an amazing afternoon, we were joined by Aileen, Dennis, Joan, Joy and Betty. They really loved their young waiter William who served them in an excellent manner. We even learnt a new poem, all about a tea party, which was fun, it goes as follows…

The Tea Party

I had a little tea party

this afternoon at three.

‘Twas very small,

three guests in all,

Just I, myself and me.

Myself ate up the sandwiches,

While I drank up the tea.

‘Twas also I who ate the pie,
