A Taste Of The Haggis
Residents and staff had a taste of haggis with potatoes for the Burns Night celebration, commemorating the life and poetry of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.
They also had a small glass of whisky, in keeping with the Scottish tradition, and enjoyed listening to some of the famous poet’s poems.
Burns suppers take place across Scotland, and everyone raised a toast in memory of Robert Burns.
Our residents truly enjoyed the flavours of the haggis.
