Christmas Wreaths

12 December 2024

Residents made traditional Christmas wreaths in Joh’s art class today.

They weaved fir branches, ivy, and mistletoe around a willow branch circle. Carol, Edith, and Michelle were deep in concentration, making sure the produce was equally distributed around to create a beautiful wreath.

Meanwhile, Richard and minibus driver Paul got the giggles about who was going to kiss under the mistletoe! After seeing how amazing the girls’ wreaths looked, Senior Nurse Lexie came to help the giggling boys in the end.

Joh is so talented at bringing out the artistic qualities in all who join her sessions; she creates a wonderful, mindful, and calm atmosphere with all residents feeling a great sense of achievement afterwards.

The wreaths look beautiful in all the lounges!
