Respite From The Sun

With the summer heat becoming more intense, the residents longed for a refreshing escape and an opportunity to enjoy the coolness of nature.

An organised bus trip was arranged, taking the residents to a nearby sports field where they could bask in a gentle breeze, sip on tea, and indulge in afternoon cakes. We found the perfect spot for our picnic under the shelter of leafy trees, providing much-needed shade and creating a natural sanctuary from the sun.

As we settled down, the air was filled with laughter and conversation. The residents excitedly shared stories and memories of their youth, reminiscing about the days when they played football and cricket.

The bus ride back to the home was filled with cherished memories of that magical afternoon, and the residents carried those special moments with them.
