Filling Our Meringues

Our resident Ted came up to the dining table and joined a small group in an activity, we were filling mini meringues with some fresh fruit.

He cut up the fresh strawberries with a little help, he then placed the strawberries and raspberries in the meringue with a small spoon, when we’d finished filling the meringues, there was some fruit left over so our group ate the rest! Perks of the job!

We talked about when we were younger that we would go strawberry picking, and that there was a little honesty box at the counter where you would place money for how many strawberries you had eaten while you were picking, which made us chuckle! The filled meringues went into the fridge to keep cool, they were enjoyed a little later with a little drop of fresh cream.
