Garden Walks

27 October 2024

An autumnal garden walk gave residents the chance to connect with nature and each other.

Richard whistled ‘She’ll be Coming Round the Mountain,’ as Companion Team Leader, Cara, led everyone round. He managed to whistle for fifteen minutes straight! “That’s clever,” said Kathryn. “It’s like having our own soundtrack.”

Joan especially enjoyed touching and smelling all the different flowers and plants still in bloom, particularly the lavender and rosemary. Cara cut her some hydrangeas to have in her room. “It’s not my birthday, is it?” she joked. “They are beautiful.”
