Great British Beach Clean!

To celebrate the week-long event of ‘The Great British Beach Clean’, we decided here at Fernhill that we would like to take part.

A few staff and residents went to Swanage Beach to be part of the wonderful event. Equipped with rubbish pickers, Ron, Elizabeth, June and Diana enthusiastically joined in the effort to clean up part of the beach. After a rewarding morning of cleaning, we enjoyed a lovely lunch at the seaside restaurant basking in the warm sun and the sound of waves. As we sat there, we couldn’t help but reminisce about our day, feeling proud of our contribution to the pristine beauty of Swanage Beach.
