Gwen’s Wish Come True

Resident Gwen expressed a wish to relive her working days. 

Gwen worked in a Sainsbury’s store from 1974 to 1995; she left the store just before she moved to Dorset. Gwen would help pack the customers bags, fill the shelves, and hand out baskets for the customers with a beautiful smile. 

Sainsbury’s asked Suzanne – a member of the customer service team – to come to the home to visit Gwen. Suzanne said she was so pleased to help fulfil this wish for Gwen. 

Gwen was presented with her own name badge and a little gold badge, a beautiful cake, and an orchid. Gwen and Suzanne had a lovely conversation about her time working for Sainsbury’s and how things have changed since her time at the store. 

Gwen was delighted with her visit! Fernhill would like to say a big thank you to Suzanne and Sainsbury’s for making this wish come true for Gwen.
