Harvesting

Bathed in the intermittent warm glow of the sun between the grey clouds, residents of Fernhill care home embarked on a joyful trip to the nearby allotment.

With the guidance of companions, they carefully selected an assortment of vegetables from plump zucchinis to radiant beetroots. Grins of satisfaction adorned their faces as they handed over their harvest to the care home chef who eagerly awaited their arrival, the delight in the chef eyes was lovely to see, he was very excited about the fresh, organic produce.
