Horse Therapy

With such glorious weather, we spontaneously decided to pay a visit to a neighbouring stable located behind our care home.

The stables provide a peaceful home for retired horses, and our residents were delighted to have the opportunity to stroke them. We were also lucky to spot a few rabbits hopping around the nearby fields, while a fox observed us from a distance.

Sue, the owner of the stable, kindly gave us a guided tour of the stables and the beautiful meadows that surround them.

Our residents had such a wonderful time that they are already discussing the idea of returning to the stables for a picnic or a nice cup of tea.

Our spontaneous trip brought immense joy to all of us, leaving us feeling uplifted for the remainder of the day.
