Land Girls Singalong

We came together today for a profoundly moving D-Day commemoration.

Companions Anne Marie and Angela dressed as Land Girls and gave lively renditions of popular wartime songs which brought joy and nostalgia to everyone, with residents joining in to sing along.

A particularly touching moment came when Ron beautifully sang ‘We’ll Meet Again’ — a heartfelt performance that stirred emotions and led the rest of the residents to join in harmony.

Together, we paused for a moment of silence to honour and remember the brave souls who lost their lives during the Second World War.
