More Than Just a Swim

This week, we fulfilled a special wish for one of our residents, Kiki.

Kiki has always been a very keen swimmer and has been very eager to go for a refreshing dip. Along with companions, Ann Marie and Evie, Kiki made her way to the Ferndown Leisure Centre for an early morning swim.

From the moment she entered the water, it was clear that Kiki had a natural talent for swimming. She swam effortlessly on her back, mastered the front crawl, and even completed several impressive lengths of the pool using the breaststroke. Her strokes were smooth and confident, showing the skills of someone with a real passion for the water.

After the swim, KiKi was beaming, and expressed how much the experience had uplifted her spirits. “This gives me so much energy,” she exclaimed.
