Music On The Roof Terrace Garden

A few of our residents recently joined the companionship team on the roof terrace garden for a musical activity.

We played various percussion instruments along to different tunes. Three of our lovely ladies selected the same instrument to play! It was wonderful to see them listening to the rhythm and beat of the music, then playing their instruments. It was also heart warming to hear them laughing at the different sounds they were creating. We enjoyed playing a mix of old and modern songs.

Anne looked at the other ladies beside her, giggled, and said, “We are all wearing the same hats, we look like the three mischievous musketeers!” The ladies then shared a laugh.

It was such a fantastic session; music connects us and links us to various memories from the past.
