National Love Your Pet Day

It was National Love Your Pet Day this week – a special occasion to shower our furry friends with extra love and attention! 

Resident Sheila’s daughter Elaine brought her dog, a 5-year-old golden retriever called Lexie. She was very excitable and ran off to see our lovely resident June and play with her. 

Meanwhile, Nigel’s wife brought their dog, a golden labrador called Jake in. He is 9 years old and was a very relaxed and calm, as he often comes in Fernhill to see Nigel. 

It was a lovely afternoon for residents to be around our furry friends; only Figgy – our house cat – was put out with all these dogs around!
