Our New Veggie Patch

We were so excited to see gardeners Pete and Bret today: they came and prepared our amazing new vegetable patch. 

Residents Kiki and Robert said they would love to go out and help do some planting with them. So, we planted a variety of herbs, courgettes, a range of pepper plants with mild heat and a sweet flavour, tomatoes, French beans, strawberries, and sweet peas. 

We will also be making up four little hanging baskets for the garden, this will require a minibus trip to Haskins to choose the flowers residents would like to plant.
