Despite the forecast of bad weather, the Fernhill team made the brave decision to proceed with their planned sponsored walk along Bournemouth promenade.

Six spirited Fernhill residents dressed appropriately for the conditions, filled with enthusiasm for the cause, and greeted the bus driven by David with smiles.

As we neared the seaside, the weather attempted to dampen our spirits, but our sense of adventure took over, and we were determined to complete our challenge walk. While we waited for the rain to subside, we enjoyed a delightful picnic lunch prepared by our talented chef, Martin. Just as we finished our meal, the sun peeked through the clouds, signalling the perfect moment to embark on our walk.

Being by the sea filled us all with a sense of liberation, confidence, and excitement.  The energy and charm radiated from every person who joined us on our walk.
