The King’s Crown

During our Art Club session, we love turning our hands to both new and traditional crafts.

This week, we had a go at making a crown for the King’s upcoming birthday. Companion Angela, along with residents Kiki, Rosemary and Elizabeth, had a choice of materials to work with. They painted the crown gold and added glittery stickers to give it that royal touch, then we let our creative minds flow!

It was a mindful, relaxing session and a lovely way to spend an hour or two in good company, reminiscing about the coronation day a few years ago.
