VE Day Celebrations

We celebrated VE Day with the local community… and a very special guest! 

Companion Angela and Customer Advisor Karlene took residents Kiki, Robert, Ron, and some of their relatives to the Barrington Centre in Ferndown, as the Mayor had invited us to their afternoon tea VE Day celebration. 

We were treated to scrumptious scones and a cuppa whilst being entertained by singers from Poole’s Lighthouse Theatre. 

The guests were surprised with a special guest – Martin Clunes! 

We had a wonderful time. On the way home, Ron said: “What a special way to celebrate 80 years of VE Day.”
